BRAISED BEEF TENDERLOIN CHUNKS

紅燒牛腩食譜 (hong2 shao1 niu2 nan3 shi2 pu3)

Ingredients: 材料 (cai2 liao4):

a catty (600g) beef tenderloin牛腩一斤 (600公克) (niu2 nan3 yi1 jin1 (liou4 bai3 gong1 ke4))

2 potatoes 馬鈴薯兩個 (ma3 ling2 shu3 liang3 ge)

1 carrot 紅蘿蔔一根 (hong2 luo2 bo yi4 gen1)

1 onion 洋蔥一顆 (yang2 cong1 yi4 ke1)

2 tomatoes 番茄兩顆 (fan1 qie2 liang3 ke1)

INGREDIENTes

Seasoning: 調味料 (tiao2 wei4 liao4):

butter 20g 牛油20公克 (niu2 you2 er4 shi2 gong1 ke4)

rice wine 150ml米酒150毫升 (mi3 jiu3 yi1 bai3 wu3 shi2 hao2 sheng1)

3 tablespoons of ketchup 番茄醬三大匙 (fan1 qie2 jiang4 san1 da4 chi2)

salt and crystal sugar to taste 鹽和冰糖適量yen2 han4 bing1 tang2 shi4 liang4)

Procedures: 作法 (zuo4 fa3):

1. Stir fry chopped onions with butter. 用牛油炒香洋蔥 (yong4 niu2 you2 chao3 xiang1 yang2 cong1)
